Hiding any file or folder in Windows from tools or properties options is very common. However, there is a feature in Windows 10 named ‘Quick Access’ from where you can easily hide any file or folder. This feature also gives the full access to the recently used items.
Follow the below mentioned steps to hide a specific file or folder via Quick Access in Windows 10.
Step 1: Navigate to Windows Explorer > click on Quick Access on the upper left corner
Step 2: List of files and folders will be opened, Now right click on the file or folder you want to hide and click on ‘Hide from frequent’.
Step 3: If you want to remove any file than again right click on the file and click on ‘Hide from frequent’.
Step 4: If you want to clear all items from Quick Access than go to the search or ask area and open Windows Explorer option.
Step 5: File Explorer Options will open. Navigate to General tab and click at ‘Clear’
