Few weeks ago Facebook has introduced its new feature named Legacy Contact. Legacy Contact is a person – your friend on Facebook – to whom you nominate to look after your account after your death. For Legacy Contact, a person must be your friend. Check the step below to set the Legacy Contact.
Login to your Facebook account
Step 1: Click on setting.
Step 2: Click on security
Step 3: Click on Legacy Contact
Step 4: Add your friend
Step 5: Facebook will generate a message that will send to your friend. You may change the default message as well. Click on send
Note: You can any time edit or delete the Legacy Contact. After your death, Legacy Contact can add new friends, change the profile picture and cover photo, add a pinned post, and respond to a new friend request. However, he cannot peep into your messages and conversations and can’t delete the old content as well.
